Carolyn Davis Sklar

Carolyn brings over 20
years of professional services marketing and business experience to her role as client development coach. The business sectors in which she has gained her experience include law, architecture, real estate and accounting. She has worked both nationally (St. Louis; Washington, D.C.; New York; Atlanta; San Francisco) and internationally (U.K.) and prior to the launch of her coaching practice, she was Director of Marketing for a U.K. law firm. It is this combination of business experience in general, and legal professional service marketing experience in particular, which enables her to provide an informed and insightful perspective when coaching attorneys.

As President of Sklar & Associates LLC, Carolyn
has coached attorneys at all levels (from Associates to Senior Partners), across a broad range of practice areas, in mid to large law firms. Aside from one-to-one coaching, she has also led CLE-accredited workshops for individual law firms as well as the St. Louis Bar Association. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Legal Sales and Services Organization. Carolyn is also a qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Instrument and The Highlands Ability Battery.

Carolyn and her husband currently reside in
St. Louis, Missouri. When she is not setting attorneys up for success she can be found entertaining friends, seeking out live jazz or classical music events, or reading a good book!
